Can be installed in either standard or the reverse mode.
Closer body is compact and slim, with a body width of 35mm (64U/164U/65U/165U¨41mm).
Easy closing speed and hold-open angell adjustments.

These products are designed for use on doors for ordinary building construction. If they are to be used for special applications, consult the manufacturer. If the door closer is to be installed on doors exposed to strong wind or on very tall or heavy doors, use the next size up from the one shown above.

A door stop should be fitted to prevent the door from opening back too far and damaging the wall.  

The regular type can be converted into the parallel type with the aid of the conversion bracket ; the reverse, however, is not possible.

INSTALLATION AND PRECAUTIONS 

This closer can be installed with butt hinge or pivot-hinge doors. Standard or reverse installation is possible in either door.

Use a butt-hinge door if the door must open 180 degrees.

Installation dimensions vary somewhat with the type of hinge.

The distance between the top of the door and the ceiling should be at least 50mm for later adjustment.

With pivot hinges, install a hold-open device or door stopper to prevent the door from opening beyond

if maximum opening angle.

 For standard installation, the width of wooden door must be at least 40mm, and that of a sash door, 36mm.

For reverse installation, a wooden door must be at least 40mm wide, and a sash door, 36mm wide.

60UA Series

For standard installation, the width of wooden door must be

 at least 50mm, and that of a sash door, 45mm.

For reverse installation, a wooden door must be at least 40mm

wide, and a sash door, 36mm wide.
